Questions, answered

What makes these mazes easy?

Two things. The grid is small, so the squares print large and there is room for a crayon. And the difficulty is set to Easy, which means a wrong turn dies within about five squares rather than winding on. Hitting a wall quickly is what tells a young child to go back.

My child finds these too easy. What now?

Nudge the size slider up a few squares first, and move to Medium once they stop needing the short dead ends. The two controls are separate, so you can grow the maze without making the wrong turns more deceptive.

What age are these for?

Around four to six. For a first maze try 8 squares across, and for a confident five year old try 12.
